When you are going to travel somewhere always make sure you packed enough for your trip. It is better to be over packed then to under pack. Especially when you are travailing out to the middle of the wilderness where there is no one else around. To go into the wilderness with barely any food and little clothes to keep you warm is just asking to freeze to death. If you gonna go somewhere where it is cold the pack heavy warm clothes to keep you warm. If you are going somewhere hot then pack light thin clothes. It is plain and simple. Even if you want to live of the land you still need some bare essentials that you can not get in the wild.

Living of the Land

Topic: Inspiration or Fool?
Was Alex a fool for going to live off in the Alaska wilderness alone with the only food he has was a ten pound bag of rice. Or was Alex an inspiration for others to go and live of the land and only bring the minimal supplies. I would say Alex is a giant fool for going out to the wild with the bare minimum. He should have started off at least a place closer to civilization and maybe for like a weekend then worked his was up. You need more food you can not live off of a ten pound bag of rice at lease bring a better gun then your .22 caliber to hunt with. I wanna say he went out there knowing that he was gonna die. Why else would you travel out to Alaska wilderness with only ten pound bag of rice and why waste all that time hitch hiking out there. Hitch hiking of all thing you never know what is gonna happen when you get in a strangers car you do not know their past and what they are capable of.

Do not mind it will be okay

Topic: It will all be okay.
To many times in today's society people say it will be okay in the long run or it is gonna be okay. You can not always assume that everything will be okay or it will all work out in the long run. Like Gallien in the book he thought that Alex would be okay and just come out of the woods when he ran out of food but he did not, he stayed there and died in the bus. Sometimes it will not always be okay you are gonna have your ups and downs. Sometimes you need someone to tell you it is not gonna be okay and that you need to do this or get help. When someone tells me it is not gonna be okay I love it because I do everything I possibly can to prove that it will be.
